"From Zero to Hero." In a Coding Bootcamp a participant goes through an intensive training to become a developer. The Coding Bootcamp was primarily created in response to the lack of IT specialists, it is also called "the third way" in the educational landscape. The first Coding Bootcamps were established in the US at the beginning of the 2010s, for example players like Galvanize or General Assembly. In Germany, Coding Bootcamps are offered by startups and companies such as Neue Fische (founder: Dalia Das). The basic idea of bootcamps is also used nowadays for training of other qualification profiles that are rare on the job market: nurses, other technical professions, data scientists.
