Private Cloud: Providing Cloud Computing services for a single company or public authority. Usually, these services are provided by the company's own IT department (setup, maintenance) - but Private Cloud can also be provided by external companies or third parties.

As with Public Cloud, Private Cloud uses principles such as virtualization, distributed computing, container technology, microservices architecture, so that scalability and elasticity are achieved.

However, these Private Cloud Computing services are not accessible to the general public, so the security of these solutions (if properly operated and maintained) is superior to a Public Cloud (unless one assumes that the Public Cloud operators have and are developing greater expertise in security issues).
