The Agency for Breakthrough Innovation ("Agentur fuer Sprunginnovation" or SprinD GmbH, founded: October 2019, headquarters: Leipzig) has the task of identifying promising technological innovations at research institutions, universities and in industry and making them commercially successful. The underlying understanding of breakthrough Innovation ("Sprunginnovation") is as follows: "A breakthrough innovation is a radical, groundbreaking innovation that changes our lives for the better in a sustainable way.".

The Agency is managed by Raphael Laguna de la Vera. The agency is endowed with approximately one billion euros in funding. Click here for the website: sprind.org.

The activities of the Agency for Breakthrough Innovation also take place against the background of decreasing founder activities in Germany. The business newspaper Handelsblatt has recently published an article in which it takes stock of the startup activities in Germany ( Entrepreneurs. No will, no vision, no growth.
